we took a garden walk this morning (something we do religiously on the weekends and often on weekday evenings) and SOO many things were blooming for the first time because of all the sun we've had. i couldn't NOT take pictures. here are the beets and carrots before i weeded them! i'll update you with a weeded picture soon.
our golden hops are doing really well this year and chris has finally finished the arbor...so now they have a place to weave themselves.
Solomon's seal...or false solomon's seal. i can never remember which. it's one of my favorite things in my yard.

I love!! the garden pictures, it's just like being there! My(your) Oriental poppies are blooming too and we have an identical carrot weeding problem.
